Item Details An antique Ernst Leitz Wetzlar microscope having a black metallic and brass finish. This binocular microscope features three magnification settings and includes an American Optical microscope lamp. The microscope is marked “E. Leitz Wetzlar” to the front with serial number 165950 indicating manufacture between 1914-1916. A wooden case marked “Carl Zeiss Jena” and “Germany” to the interior of the door is also included. It includes a set of keys and has been personalized with a plaque marked “Dr. Leitz Wetzlar Working Condition: Powered on, but otherwise untested Marks: Maker’s Marks, Serial Number Accessories: Carl Zeiss Wood Storage Box with Keys, American Optical Microscope Lamp Condition.
