Guitar Pro 5

I just installed Guitar Pro 5 on a 27' iMac 5K Retina, 32 gigs ram, 4GHz i7, 5GB video card, Scarlett 6i6 audio interface and I too have this intolerable background crackle and hiss when trying to play or record in Logic Pro X with a brand new Schecter KM7 (Passive pickups) (which is absolutely silent when played through my Fender Hot Rod Deluxe III and hardware effects pedals so it's not the guitar). The Schecter running just through Logics own amp modellers are all very quiet if not silent again removing the possibly of the guitar being the issue. Guitar Rigs noise gate and noise reduction filter don't help either because as soon as any signal passes through them they open up and in comes the hiss and crackle as loud as ever. I have tried every buffer size and it made zero difference. Before anyone says that some noise is normal with high gain effects and distortion I should point out that I am a jazz player and only use the cleanest of tones.
